Liz Hanbidge is a business owner, attorney, child advocate and a fighter for children and families. Spending a majority of her professional life as a court-appointed guardian, Liz works with the Office of Children and Youth, police and judges to protect children throughout Montgomery County.
Advocating for the most vulnerable and those without a voice, Liz is a passionate and devoted, pro bono attorney for the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project. Liz is running for PA State Representative because she believes that now, more than ever, the 61st District needs a state representative who will legislate for constituents and not special interests. In the meantime, Liz has spent her entire career protecting those most harmed by Harrisburg’s apathy.
Liz has a graduate degree in Psychology from the University of Oxford and Harvard University, as well as a law degree from the University of Wisconsin. Recently, Liz has been teaching civics to sixth graders at Gwyn-Nor Elementary and East Norton Middle School. She and her family moved to Blue Bell in 2001 to live on a farm, where she spends early mornings caring for two horses, and is frequently accompanied by her beloved canine companions.
