Candidate Spotlight: Michele Knoll

After dedicating her life to helping her community through education, Michele Knoll decided it was time to take her community service one step further by running for office. While raising three daughters, she spent her career as a teacher, developmental therapist and school board director. She also worked tirelessly as a volunteer with NurturePA to assist young mothers with their babies and Friends of the Montour Trail to preserve western Pa’s natural beauty.

Michele’s professional and volunteer work made her familiar with the struggles that her district faces. She wants to work toward progressive change for the constituents of District 44, including a more equitable and effective public school system, investment in rehabilitation services to alleviate the opioid crisis and creating jobs to grow the local economy.
