PHILADELPHIA, January 19, 2022 – The 2022 election cycle in Pennsylvania offers many added challenges for candidates across the state, including the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as well as yet-to-be-finalized district maps. To get ahead of these trials and support strong, progressive incumbent women candidates, Represent PA has invested an early $64,000.
Here is the list of endorsed candidates that Represent PA endorses for re-election:
Incumbent Senate candidates | Districts/Counties |
Maria Collett | SD-12 (Bucks, Montgomery) |
Katie Muth | SD-44 (Berks, Chester, Montgomery) |
Lindsey Williams | SD-38 (Allegheny) |
Incumbent House candidates | Districts/Counties |
Jessica Benham | HD-36 (Allegheny) |
Elizabeth Fiedler | HD-184 (Philadelphia) |
Nancy Guenst | HD-152 (Montgomery, Philadelphia) |
Kristine Howard | HD-167 (Chester) |
Emily Kinkead | HD-20 (Allegheny) |
Leanne Krueger | HD-161 (Delaware) |
Jennifer O’Mara | HD-165 (Delaware) |
Danielle Friel Otten | HD-155 (Chester) |
Christina Sappey | HD-158 (Chester) |
Melissa Shusterman | HD-157 (Chester, Montgomery) |
“By closely following the redistricting process and understanding which seated legislators are most at risk, we were able to determine who might face the largest challenges,” said Christine Jacobs, Executive Director of Represent PA. “This information informs our investment decisions and allows these women to gain a leg up.” Represent PA has a goal of flipping both the state House and Senate.
