PHILADELPHIA, December 17, 2018 – To close out a successful year of investing in progressive women, Represent PA hosted its final fundraiser on December 13 at a private Center City home and featured US Senator from New York, Kirsten Gillibrand. Gillibrand stopped by to meet the guests and speak about what she sees for the next two years in Washington. She also shared an overview of her most recent children’s book: Bold and Brave, which she was discussing later that evening at the Free Library of Philadelphia.
The event was intended to kick-start Represent PA’s 2019 goals, which are focused on gaining donations so that it can make a few early investments in a few candidates in 2020, better enabling progressive women candidates well ahead of the primary season.
